To ensure that you are booked in and everything runs smoothly, it is important that you contact Buderim Private Hospital prior to 32 weeks into your pregnancy to book into our Preadmission Clinic. This is a complimentary service for all maternity patients where we give you the information you’ll need in the lead-up to the birth and get the information we need to streamline the admission process when you arrive at the hospital for the birth. Baby CPR and First Aid
The hospital works with the CPR Kids
team to bring Baby CPR and First Aid Courses to campus for new parents.
These courses aim to empower you and your family with the life-saving skills of CPR and First Aid for babies. The three hour class is taught by the CPR Kids expert paediatric nurses and midwives who specialise in children’s health, with a focus on knowing what to do in emergency situations.
Topics covered in this hands-on class include: CPR, Choking, Drowning, Fever, Burns, Head injuries and more.
