The Mental Health Family and Carer Program is made up of regular, individual sessions at the Buderim Private Hospital. The purpose of these complimentary sessions is to inform and empower carers and family members of a person experiencing mental illness and related issues. Health professionals will help you understand more about the issues your loved one is facing.

You will also have the opportunity to talk with others who may be going through a similar experience to yours. Sessions are presented in everyday language and a friendly, supportive environment.

Who may attend

Any carer or family member of a person who is experiencing a mental health illness and related issues.
• No referral required
• No cost
• Private Health Insurance not required
• Light refreshments and tea/coffee provided

Contact Cooinda Mental Health Service Day Programs at any time to register (either phone or email). You are welcome to attend as many sessions as you like.

Guest Speakers

Will include the following representatives:

Each guest speaker will present a specific topic.

What is included
