Buderim Private Hospital has recently been the grateful recipient of a series of random acts of kindness and would like to thank the community for supporting its team of healthcare heroes.
Acts of kindness have included the donation of colourful scrubs caps which have been sewn by a group of talented sewers from the Sunshine Coast and around Australia, as well as the delivery of free meals for frontline staff from Elixiba restaurant and Dominos Pizza.
General Manager Karen Clark said the Buderim Private Hospital team were thrilled to receive the surprise donations and extremely grateful to the Sunshine Coast community for its support.
“We truly appreciate the gifts we have received which have been very uplifting during these challenging times,” Mrs Clark said.
“We are really proud of our entire team and would like to express our sincere thanks to the individuals and community groups who have come together to recognise and thank our healthcare heroes who work around the clock to provide compassionate care to our patients,” she said.
As part of UnitingCare, the Buderim Private Hospital is owned by the Uniting Church and is the only not-for-profit provider of private hospital services on the Sunshine Coast.
