It has been three years since the Buderim Private Hospital Emergency Centre opened its doors to the Sunshine Coast community, and we thought it would be fun to share with you some of the interesting facts and figures from its first three years.
Opened in 2018, the $4 million facility is the first and only private Emergency Centre on the Sunshine Coast. The Emergency Centre includes life-saving critical care resuscitation areas, bedside ultrasound and echocardiography, a fast-track room, and specialised eye equipment. There is also onsite expert services available for imaging and blood tests. The Emergency Centre service is also supported by the hospital’s specialist facilities, including operating theatres, cardiac catheter laboratories and an intensive care unit.
