Congratulations to Shane Mitchell who has been appointed as the new General Manager at Buderim Private Hospital.
Shane joined Buderim in the role of Director Clinical Services 10 months ago and most recently filled the position of Acting General Manager while a recruitment process was underway.
During his time at Buderim, Shane has proven to be an inclusive and collaborative leader. He has successfully pursued new business opportunities while maintaining a strong focus on building relationships with the local community to ensure sustainable healthcare improvements. This is particularly important for the Buderim Private Hospital community and the wider community we serve.
Shane commenced his career in hospitals as a Registered Nurse more than 30 years ago and has extensive experience in senior roles within health. He has held many Senior Leadership positions including Executive Manager Hospital Services – St Vincent’s, CEO Noosa Private Hospital and CEO Ramsay Health Care Cairns.
