Dr Amy Bailey is an interventional cardiologist with admitting rights at Buderim Private Hospital.
Dr Bailey is a graduate of the University of New South Wales and the University of Newcastle, also being a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
Amy completed an interventional fellowship at Princess Alexandra Hospital, with special emphasis on diagnostic coronary angiography and percutaneous intervention. Her passion for cardiology saw her complete a second fellowship in Complex Coronary Intervention at St George’s University Hospital in London. This advanced cardiology training included specialisation in chronic total occlusions, left main and bifurcation procedures.
She holds special interests in cardiac disease in women, spontaneous coronary artery dissection, intracoronary imaging and coronary modification.
