Dr Bogdan Benga is an experienced Fertility Specialist, Gynaecologist and Obstetrician.

A member of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Bogdan obtained his medical degree from University of New South Wales and trained in obstetrics and gynaecology in Sydney, Brisbane and Bristol, UK.

Bogdan’s main interests include fertility investigations and treatment, laparoscopic surgery and management of high-risk obstetrics. He is a Visiting Medical Officer at ​Buderim Private Hospital, Noosa Hospital and Nambour General Hospital, and is actively involved in training medical students and registrars.

An approachable specialist, Bogdan is happy to answer his patients’ questions on all aspects of the fertility journey. He takes a thorough approach to fertility treatment, offering continuity of care to patients looking for a specialist to see them through conception, pregnancy and birth.

Bogdan believes in respecting a woman's wishes regarding pregnancy and birth. He takes a non-interventional approach to pregnancy and labour and is happy to allow a natural birthing process to continue, intervening only when necessary to ensure a safe outcome for the mother and baby.
