Doctor Details

Dr Colledge has been practicing as a colorectal and general surgeon on the Sunshine Coast since 2002.  Colorectal surgical interests include laparoscopic colorectal resections and rectal prolapse procedures, colonoscopy, procedures for functional defaecatory disorders (incontinence and obstructed defaecation) and rectal bleeding. He continues to provide a broad range of general surgical care including laparoscopic cholecystectomy, laparoscopic hernia surgery and skin lesion surgery.

After schooling on the Sunshine Coast, Dr Colledge completed undergraduate and then specialist surgical training in Queensland attaining fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2000. Sub-specialty colorectal training was undertaken in the United Kingdom, in Edinburgh and Oxford. Dr Colledge was admitted as a member of the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand in 2004.

Dr Colledge consults from the Nucleus Specialist Suites, Buderim. He operates at The Sunshine Coast Private Hospital and at Nambour Selangor Private Hospital. As part of the private general surgical on-call roster he provides continuity of care to private patients on the Sunshine Coast.
