Dr Abeyratne provides both inpatient and outpatient service at Buderim Private Hospital. He is also available for home visits to select residential aged care facilities around Buderim.

He has special interest in all aspect of Geriatric Medicine - complex multiple problems in older adults, memory, movement disorders, falls and frailty, orthogeriatric etc.

Dr Abeyratne is happy to be involved in developing care plan for older adults with multiple medical, functional and psychosocial issues.

All outpatient/ community assessments are done as Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment and Medicare requires this wording for the patient to be eligible for a bulk-billed appointment.
