Dr Vasudev Navalgund is an Australian Trained Orthopaedic Surgeon with over 20 years of orthopaedic experience, comprising formal and informal training, fellowships and private practice consulting in Australia, Canada and India. 

Dr Vasudev Navalgund's special interests include:

• Cervical, Thoracic and Lumbar decompressions and Fusions including Minimally Invasive Surgery
• Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion (TLIF)
• Revision Spine Surgery
• Micro Discectomy
• Occipital – Cervical fusions

Dr Navalgund completed his training with the Royal Australian College of Surgeons and Australian Orthopaedic Association in Queensland between 2013 and 2018.  

He completed his Adult Spine Surgery Fellowship at the prestigious University of Toronto Spine Program - St Michael’s Hospital, Toronto, Canada and an Adult and Paediatric Spine Fellowship at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and the Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

In 2018, Dr Navalgund moved to the Sunshine Coast to work at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital. He commenced private practice at Buderim Private Hospital in 2022.
