Everything first-time parents need to know
Recommended for pregnant mothers around 30 weeks. Birthing partners are also encouraged to come. One-day and two-day weekend courses are available.
Our Antenatal classes focus on providing participants with helpful information about pregnancy, maintaining your health and handling unexpected situations. They are also great for new parents looking for a little extra help with early parenting skills.
Each class is presented by our experienced experts and will see participants breaking into groups to discuss different labour scenarios and how to handle them. You will also get a chance to tour our modern and welcoming Maternity Ward.
You can expect to learn about topics such as:
- The stages of labour
- When to come to hospital
- Planning for birth
- Midwife’s role
- Your hospital stay
- A tour of the maternity ward
