Doctor Details

Ben joined the Coastal IVF team in 2022. After graduating from Monash University, Ben completed his specialty training at several major hospitals in South East Queensland. During this time he also completed a Masters in Reproductive Medicine and pursued a special interest in infertility and minimally invasive surgery. Ben feels having a family is one of the greatest joys in life. Unfortunately for many couples, falling pregnant is not easy and this can be a difficult and highly stressful time. The ability to help and support patients to achieve a healthy pregnancy is what drove him to O&G. Ben believes tailoring care to the individual is essential to achieving the best clinical outcome and patient experience.

 

Ben offers private pregnancy care and only shares on call with his colleague at Coastal IVF - Dr Robert North. This guarantees patients that they will be delivered by an obstetrician they know.  Coastal IVF is also one of the only units in Australia to offer 2mm micro-laparoscopy. This technology results in less pain, better cosmesis and faster recovery than traditional 5mm laparoscopy and is a great tool for diagnostic laparoscopies, tubal dye studies and treatment of endometriosis.
