Parking and transport
All parking at Buderim Private Hospital is free.
Just through the main entrance is our two-level main car park, topped by the Nucleus Medical Suites. Additional spaces are available in other parking areas further along the entrance road.
Disabled parking spaces are available at the point closest to the main hospital building.
There is a Patient Drop-Off/Pick-Up Zone
just outside the main reception area for your convenience.
Additional free parking is available at the nearby Maroochydore Cricket Ground car park, which is located approximately 600m from the hospital, off Syd Lingard Drive. Visitors can park here and catch our free courtesy bus to the hospital and back to the car park. This service operates every 5-10 minutes, Monday to Friday from 5.45am - 5.45pm.
The safety of our patients and visitors is paramount. For this reason we regret to inform our patients and visitors that we are unable to transport children up to 7 years of age on our courtesy bus.
Should any patients, visitors or family members have infants or children up to 7 years of age travelling with them, it is recommended they utilise the free parking available onsite at the hospital.
The Queensland Government Transport and Motoring department advises that ‘When driving with children up to 7 years of age, you must ensure they are restrained in a properly fastened and adjusted Australian Standard approved child restraint’. Our hospital courtesy bus does not have any child restraints installed and due to its classification as a C class motor vehicle (same as a car), it does not meet the requirements relating to public transport exemptions.
If you require public transport, Sunbus runs a bus service once per hour (Route 602) between Maroochydore and Kawana which has a drop-off point at the hospital’s main entrance. For more information, contact 131 230. For a timetable, visit the Sunbus website.
You can book a taxi to or from the hospital by calling Suncoast Cabs on 131 008.
Good Bean Espresso is situated near the hospital’s main entrance and offers a variety of light meals and hot and cold beverages. Take a virtual tour.

As a healthcare facility we endorse a smoke free environment. Consequently, hospital policy prohibits smoking within the hospital buildings and front entrance area. In line with relevant legislation, from 1 January 2015 the hospital campus is smoke-free.
This legislation demands completely smoke-free environments at all hospitals and health facilities in Queensland. The law applies to the use of all smoking products, including regular cigarettes and devices commonly known as electronic cigarettes. On-the-spot fines apply for breaches of the tobacco laws.
For more information on Queensland’s tobacco laws, call 13 QGOV (13 74 67) or visit www.qld.gov.au.
For information or support to quit smoking, call Quitline 13 QUIT (13 78 48) or talk with your doctor, health professional, general practitioner or pharmacist.
