UnitingCare Health Human Research Ethics Committee
The UnitingCare Health Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) is responsible for ethical and scientific acceptability of all medically related research projects conducted at UnitingCare Health facilities and involving patients in any of UnitingCare Health’s hospitals.
The HREC is formed under the auspices of the National Health and Medical Research Council, which provides leadership and advice regarding research governance in Australia.
UnitingCare Health HREC and its Scientific Sub-Committee meet every two months to consider applications for research projects from investigators within UnitingCare Health.
