With an established private practice at Noosa since 2016, Felicity is now expanding her practice to operate and consult at Buderim Hospital. 

After completing her medical degree through University of Queensland, Felicity underwent general surgical training around southeast Queensland.  She was fortunate to do two of these years on the Sunshine Coast, both at Nambour and Noosa Hospitals.  It was following this she made the commitment to make the coast her home, and after a fellowship year at the Princess Alexandra Hospital doing subspeciality training in Breast and Endocrine surgery, she moved to the Sunshine Coast.  Felicity has two school aged children and enjoys all the great things the coast has to offer including going to the beach, dining out, going to the races and socialising with friends.

Dr Adams, loves the precision of endocrine surgery and is a member of the Australian and New Zealand Endocrine Surgeons.  She regularly attends endocrine surgery conferences keeps up to date with the latest available technologies and treatments.  

Felicity is skilled in skin cancer surgery and is able to do simple excisions, flaps and grafts; and performs sentinel lymph node biopsy for melanoma.  Dr Adams is happy to accept your referrals for skin cancers including on the face including lips, ears and nose  (with excluded areas of hands and eyes).

Felicity is passionate about improving the quality of life of women with breast cancer.  She offers urgent appointments (generally within 72hrs) for biopsy confirmed breast cancers, and employs her own in practice breast care nurse.  She has completed additional post graduate qualifications in oncoplastic breast surgery through the University of Sydney, and offers a range of oncoplastic surgical options including therapeutic mammaplasty and immediate reconstruction.
