Ali started her nursing career in Edinburgh, Scotland, in the early 1990s and worked as a community midwife before moving to Australia with her family in 2005.
Ali loves Australia and the wonderful weather on the Sunshine Coast, but her passion is midwifery. She considers it an honour to be a part of the birthing process and to watch a couple become a family. Ali strives to provide outstanding care to all and is thrilled when parents come back to welcome a second and third baby.
Ali feels fortunate to work in such a wonderful, happy environment at Buderim’s purpose-built maternity facility and to lead a fantastic team of midwives who are hard-working and compassionate.
In her spare time, Ali loves to be outdoors and enjoys running, hill walking and stand-up paddle boarding.
