About the Cooinda Carers Sessions
Presented by Clinical Neuropsychologist, Dr Laura Bennett, this free information session will focus on the symptoms and treatment for ADHD and what families and carers can do to help.
The mental health family and carer program consists of regular group sessions at Buderim Private Hospital.
The purpose of these complimentary sessions is to inform and empower carers and family members of a person experiencing a mental health related issue. Sessions are presented in everyday language in a friendly, supportive environment.
Our health professionals will help you understand more about the issues your loved one is facing. You will have the opportunity to talk with others who may be going through a similar experience to yours.
Who can attend
Any carer or family member of a person who is experiencing a mental health related illness may attend free of charge. There is no private health insurance or referral required to attend these complimentary sessions.
