• Types of surgery

  We provide a range of breast and endocrine surgery procedures right here on the Coast, including:

  • Aesthetic breast surgery: Techniques including breast lift, breast augmentation and breast reduction.
  • Breast-conserving surgery: A procedure to remove a tumour while leaving as much normal breast tissue as possible. Also known as a lumpectomy.
  • Gynaecomastia surgery: The removal of excess breast tissue, fat and skin for men.
  • Mastectomy: The removal of all breast tissue to treat or prevent breast cancer. We also offer all types of immediate and delayed reconstruction.
  • Oncoplastic and reconstructive surgery: A procedure (for women and men) to remove breast cancer, with plastic surgery techniques to improve cosmetic outcomes.
  • Sentinel node biopsy and other forms of axillary surgery: A preventative procedure to remove the first lymph node(s) cancer may spread to.
  • Thyroidectomy: A surgery to remove all or part of the thyroid gland.
